WATER UTILITY – HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTICE
The Village Water Utility will be conducting hydrant flushing on Wednesday, September 2nd and Thursday, September 3rd, between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM.
Residents may experience temporary:
Discoloration of the water
Low water pressure
Air in the water lines
Discolored water may occur as a result of the flushing process and is typically temporary. If you notice discolored water, please run the cold water for a few minutes until it runs clear before using it.
⚠️ Please refrain from doing laundry between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM on these dates to help prevent the possibility of staining clothing.
You may also notice some sputtering or air when first turning on a faucet. This should clear up after allowing the water to run briefly.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as the Village performs this necessary water system maintenance.
